Sponsored by California Steeze Magazine & CoolCode ENT., Sacramento artists’ Keezy & Boi Fresh bring you their new EP titled “Conception”. The 7 track EP gives an honest and revealing look at the life of two young artists and how they not only live their lives, but also deal with the attention and encompassing pitfalls of being young artists with money.
The EP is not just one hot track after another, but it presents an extremely relatable storyline that listeners across all platforms and backgrounds can relate and vibe to.
The beginning track on the EP describes a girl with stunning looks, or according to the recording artist, “Fine as fuck, the baddest thing you ever seen”, and the decisive mission to get with her begins. Along the way were introduced to an addicting club banger, “Pull Up”, songs that hit soft spots of all young fans with “Creep”, and even the emotionally appealing sounds on “Love Yourself” that carry important messages boosting self esteem and addressing issues most young artists tend to stray away from.
The title of the EP, “Conception” holds true to the definition of the word, meaning a presenting idea, and the way in which something is perceived or regarded. The EP not only discusses and displays issues and from which artists and listeners can agree on and relate tobut also feature the growth of the two Sacramento artists.
Rather than follow suit of mumble rappers with nonsensical bass ridden trance music, or the ever tempting drill related murder music that seems to be coming out of the area, Keezy takes a different route that is much more honest and open. Everything about the project lets listeners know that this music is real. Authentic in the truest sense, without having to say it.
